     Grooming Program 2009/10 Winter

Our volunteer groomers were able to groom the Silver Bear Snowmobile Trail on Thursday night, January 27, 2010.  They groomed from Peddler Hill to the Bear River Warming Hut and back the same path.  Unfortunately, two belts on one of our groomer tracks broke which is a very, very bad thing.  Fortunately, our ever talented Frank, was able to limp the groomer tractor back to our base groomer shed, but he was unable to groom the trail as he was returning to base.  Therefore, the trail is somewhat flat but it is rough.  This could take some time to get flat and smooth, once the tractor is repaired.  We are hoping the repairs will be done Friday, January 29, 2010, so that the grooming can resume tonight, Friday January 29, 2010.

While using the trail system, have fun, but please be safe and God bless.
